Extra charge without proof

Was not happy that after a month the package as delivered, I was charged a fee for weight/dimension difference. However, when I received the invoice, it does not tell me what the difference was. I believe because it took so long for it to finally clear the system, they charged me the new fee/rate since rates went up.

Upcharged after the shipment, reasoning vague.

A package purchased by a relative was inadvertently shipped to my house. Using UPS ground I shipped the items back to the relative using a smaller box with its measured dimensions and the exact weight assigned by Amazon shipping declared. A month later I was upcharged because of incorrect weight or incorrect dimensions. Which was it? First off, if there was discrepancy it should have been caught when the package was initial scanned and measured at the shipping office which it wasn't. I personally watched them weigh and measure the package myself without mention of an issue. One has to wonder if this isn't a hidden ploy to extract higher fees from its customers after the fact?!
