How does EMS shipping work?
When you ship internationally with EMS, the domestic leg of the journey will be provided by a local courier, such as FedEx, so you can drop off your package at your local FedEx store.
Once you've dropped off your package, FedEx will then transport it to a freight forwarding depot, where it will be sorted and shipped to its destination country. The final delivery is made by the destination country’s local postal service.
When you book an express mail service with Parcel Monkey, you’ll be provided with a shipping label to print and attach to your package, along with any necessary customs documents. The shipping label will have two parts to it – one part shows the address for the sorting depot and the other part shows the destination address. Please ensure the label and customs documents are securely attached to your package.

Will my package be tracked?
EMS is a tracked mail service so your parcel will be tracked, however, tracking updates won’t be as frequent as a fully tracked courier service.
For express mail tracking, you can track your EMS delivery via the Parcel Monkey tracking tool. Simply enter your PMS reference number into our tracking tool to see the progress of your package.

How long does EMS take?
EMS is an economy shipping service so delivery times are generally longer than a standard courier service. Delivery times will vary between 14-21 business days, depending on where you’re shipping from and to.

Unfortunately, EMS Parcel is only available to book as a package drop-off service.
